The sun rose today in the sign of Sagittarius, breaking free of Scorpio season and pushing through the cusp in the early morning hours! The sun's transit of Scorpio has been a period of intensity and transformation for many of us. Now it's time to take those mysteries and secrets to the mountaintop where we can illuminate them, integrate them, and expand our understanding of what we've just been through.

As the sun stepped through this cusp-gate, we find Jupiter right there. Jupiter just ended his 13-month transit of Scorpio to return "home" to Sagittarius. As both sun and Jupiter meet here at the cusp today, it feels like a "reset" is possible with each inhale. Jupiter & sun make a powerful team, when they join up it gives a brightness and expansiveness to our goals & intentions.

Jupiter & Sun together in Sagittarius is basically Zeus and Apollo meeting up on Mount Olympus. Hermes (Mercury) is there too, in trickster mode (retrograde). It reminds me of a certain time Apollo "misplaced" some cows.

All this fiery Sagittarius energy wants to push us into openness: Open your minds, open your hearts, step out of your shells and come experience all this amazing life around you! Do all the things! Climb the mountain, find the guru, go to school, share the knowledge!! What's stopping you??

Well, the Moon and Mars have some feelings and thoughts on this! Full Moon in Gemini has really activated our inner thinker. Analytical, curious, logical, and expressive Gemini, illuminated by full moon, *and in exact opposition to Mercury* and opposing Sun & Jupiter.

This opposition teaches us the balance between inner and outer realms of knowledge. Gemini teaches us about inner knowledge; the wisdom we gain from our day to day experiences, our youthful curiosity, and how we challenge our own intelligence. Sagittarius teaches us about Outer Knowledge - the type of wisdom we only gain from others (wise teachers, traveling away from home, having our intelligence challenged by others). The full moon here in Gemini seems to be an important check-point in the balance as we head into Sagittarius season. She says, "Don't forget about your own inner knowledge and youthful curiosity as you step into this season of seeking wisdom. If you forget your own lessons and the spark of your own mind, you risk getting washed out, bleached by the sun.

Take all that knowledge you find on the mountaintop but don't forget to make it your own." We'll meet Gemini moon again in 28 days, when She is Dark in Her Crone phase, at the very end of Sagittarius season. What will you tell Her about what you've learned?

The other archetype chiming in heavily is Mars. Mars in Pisces is Squaring both the moon in Gemini and the planets in Sagittarius. This planet of drive is usually fiery when he asks, "what are you fighting for?" in the sense that he wants to know what inspires you to go to battle. However, here in Pisces when he is asking Sun & Moon "what are you fighting for?" it comes across as a hippie asking "why can't we all get along?" (Imagine the collective sideways glance from Zeus, Apollo, Hermes, and Artemis when they are bickering and from the distance they hear ARIES ask them " Why can't you all just get along?") But Mars in Pisces isn't just floating along, high AF. In Pisces he just sees different things "worth fighting for" than the supposed knowledge & wisdom of Sagittarius or Gemini. He reminds us to fight for the Spiritual Truth that can only be found within. Mars is stepping in to challenge both Gemini and Sagittarius to find the common goal of Oneness, Nirvana. To not lose sight of Divine Truth in the quest for Knowledge or Wisdom.
