Hekate Ritual Oil - Flying Ointment to Aid Your Astral Travel

Bella Dionne • Jun 05, 2018

Circle of the Sacred Muse 's herbal alchemist, Gypsy Cece, delicately concocts traditional Unguentum Pharelis (flying ointment), using knowledge gathered through extensive research on ancient witches flying oils. Her deadly nightshade ointments are carefully crafted over a seven day period, following specific moon cycles. This ensures that they will effectively induce a deep, relaxing, meditative state, to assist your travels to the crossroads and back again with ease. Her flying ointment was such a hit when first introduced in 2017 at Hekate’s Sickle Festival (a popular pagan event held by the Aquarian Tabernacle Church in the US), that numerous requests were made to purchase the ointment after the festival. To save her pagan brothers and sisters from steep shipping costs from Canada to the US, GypsyC agreed to make her ointments available at the ATC’s store Wiccan Cauldron.

To get the most benefit out of this ointment, use a cotton swab to apply a small dab or drop to pulse points (like your wrists and inner elbows, as well as your third eye [forehead] and soles of your feet), about 20 minutes prior to beginning your meditation ritual.

Do NOT get it inside bodily orifices, use on external areas only!

This ointment works well for most astral travel meditations, but is specifically charged to work with Hekate. Tune in to your favorite flying mediation, grab your feather for focus, light your candle, close your eyes, and feel your body be stilled as you travel to the underworld, through the veil, and beyond. When you return from your journey, you won’t feel tired from your trip, but rather invigorated, energized, and maybe even a little frisky from the flight!

Caution: Not for internal use. Do not ingest. Avoid eyes, mouth, and genitals. Avoid if pregnant or nursing. May interfere with heart and blood pressure medication including daily aspirin therapy. Some plants used contain alkaloids and atropines that can interfere with your medication and aggravate allergies. If a rash occurs discontinue use and wash affected area with a mild soap and water. If irritation persists or accidental ingestion occurs see a Doctor or contact your local poison control center. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
