Beautiful & Sensual Full Moon
Beautiful and Sensual Full Moon
March 1, 2018 4:51 pm PST
Sidereal
This lunation began on February 15, under a solar eclipse. Many relationships were challenged and changed under this influence. Life is transforming, and tonight's full moon will be a delightful departure from the previous weeks' stress.
Today, the moon becomes full in the zodiac sign of Leo. Leonine qualities of personal pride, ambition, trusting one’s instinct, and generosity of spirit, leave us feeling empowered, affectionate and giving. People with strong Leo qualities enjoy romance, being the center of attention, and are always ready to promote themselves. Enticement is the keyword. Like chocolate dipped strawberries, the watery nature of the Moon combines beautifully with the strong and affectionate nature of Leo. This combination create sensuality, seduction, and a purrrrfect evening of intimacy. If you are single, spoil yourself with a sweetly scented bath and a glass of wine, and watch a movie.
If we look a little closer, we see the Moon at 18 degrees in the nakshatra of Purva Phalguni, a sanskrit word meaning “a fig tree”. The symbol of this star is the front legs of a bed, indicating a place of rest and enjoyment. This star energizes the Moon with pure shakti, and empowers new creation. Take advantage of this energy by eliminating what is not working in your life. Take a selfie, learn a new makeup technique, develop a desired skill. Most importantly, be authentic, honest and stand proud, like the king of the forest.
- DO honor yourself with downtime so you can rejuvenate
- DO eat healthy and cut back on spice, as the weakened solar force can effect your digestion
- DO be patient with yourself and others as we work through recent events
- DO be authentic and show people who you are
Focus lunar magic on self esteem, and compassionately direct your life.
Increase and balance solar influences by propitiating the Sun King. Hold a glass of purified water up to the sun in the morning, invoke his light into the water, and drink it.
In the Northern Hemisphere, our planet is slowly tilting towards the Sun, gently warming the earth. At this time, celebrate the energy of renewal by focusing your dreams into goals one seed at a time.
