Hekate’s Sickle, Our Samh’ain festival, at the most sacred time of the year, is a celebration of how all paths lead to the center. It is at this time of “crossing over,” that the convergence happens. This symbolic transfer from life to death and rebirth symbolizes all of life’s transitions.
Come with us as we transition into the dark half of the year. Now we have abundance; the crops are in and the world is fertile. Samhain brings us the final harvest as our paths converge on the long road back home for winter.
We will be following these winding paths, meeting up with Gods and Goddesses along the way. There will be three possible paths to choose from: Greek, Celtic, or Egyptian. Each will display sacred mysteries of the season through three different gates. The first gate is the guardian who will let you onto the path. From there you will be taken through two more gates, the last of which leads to the Living Shrines of the Sacred Goddesses of the Path: Hekate, Cerridwen, and Ma’at.
In order to bring community time and revelry into the moment, after Main Ritual we will convene for a Witches’ Ball, so make sure you bring a nice outfit for fancy dress! We will celebrate together with our friends and family and ancestors with dancing and music, laughter and song, with our spirits raised to the roof! There will also be workshops scheduled with our special guest presenters. We are honored to have Rev. Sonya Hill Miller and Rev. Brian Clark of Temple of the Sacred Gift – ATC Tennessee who will share with us the sacred mysteries of the Egyptian Path.
Our Merchant Area will be also include a consignment table. Handmade pieces from people within the ATC community and Pagan Community at large will be available. If you have something you would like to have on the table or if you would like information about vending during the event, details can be obtained from syleena.staff@wiccanseminary.us
Blessed Be, and see you at Sickle!
